Photography Collective is an attempt to make life easier for photographers. There are 3 main sections to the website and let me explain each here.
Website. A basic website that can be accessed by typing this www.thissite.com/yourname and it will have your contact details and a photo , an about section and and a customer portal where clients can log in and pick the images they like from a photoshoot and giving you an idea of that they want. The site hs different templates and looks and the dashboard lets you update details any time.
Live Events. This is the main reason i created the site. I was able to FTP images from my camera to my own website , upon upload via FTP (if your camera has it) my website created a page , a thumbmail , and added a custom logo to the event and as such images were available within minutes of me taking them. A lot of people asked me how i did it and wanted similar and so i looked into it all. A lot of work later here we are.
Photoshoots. Have you ever sent a client jpg images to pick their favorites only to see them getting posted online minutes later without any editing and start to use inapproperiate language out loud upon the discovery ? Well , this section of the website lets you upload the images to a section of the website , and put a very blatant watermark over the images so they cant use them until edited , you can give the client a login to their section and they can pick images , make comments and in the admin section you get to see their selections and what they need edited or what their favorite images are , and best of all , they cant post them as they are watermarked ! Lots of headaches gone in mintues !
